Tibetan Rudraksha Mala – Focus and Energy
The Rudraksha is the seed of the deep blue fruit of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus, a rare tree.
According to legend, while Shiva performed his Tandava dance of contemplation and joy, he saw the suffering of humanity and began to cry. His tears fell to the earth and transformed into Rudraksha seeds.
Research suggests that Rudraksha seeds have powerful properties that aid concentration, reduce stress, and support healthy blood circulation and heart rhythm. Dr. Subash Rai from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, states that they help balance neurotransmitter activity as well as dopamine and serotonin levels.
In India, Rudraksha is traditionally used to regulate blood pressure, reduce anxiety, promote calm, improve focus, and increase energy. It is also considered a symbol of prosperity and good luck, offering protection against negative influences.
Uses:
-
Worn near the heart to relieve stress and support circulation.
-
Can help improve symptoms of depression and nervous tension.
-
Believed to slow aging, enhance skin vitality, and increase personal magnetism and attractiveness.
-
Brings balance to the environment, especially at home or work, fostering stronger and more stable relationships.
-
Enhances communication and written expression.
-
Reduces anxiety and promotes acceptance of situations beyond one’s control.
-
Attracts prosperity and success in work, studies, and personal projects.
It is important to respect the Rudraksha plant and use only authentic seeds. Genuine seeds can be identified by exposing them to high heat—they do not change shape. These seeds should be used with awareness of their spiritual significance, not just for decorative purposes.
